Breast Cancer Awareness

Breast cancer is a worldwide problem. In the United States it is the second most common cancer among women and there is a 12.5% chance that any woman will have to deal with it in their lifetime. It is likely that too many people in the US are affected by breast cancer in some way that it is time for us to find a cure. There are many events across North America every year to help raise money and bring people together.

Awareness Events

Two of the most popular events that take place on an annual basis is the Susan G. Komen 3-Day and the Komen Race for the Cure. These events are held all across the United States and have attracted more participants every year. You can show your support at one of these events, or other local events by wearing anything from pink cancer awareness socks to pink ribbon logo headband. As merchant we prepare and provide pink items for people to wear during many events throughout the year.

Other Types of Cancer and Diseases

We must not forget other types of cancer and disease that are prevalent throughout North America. There are also awareness campaigns for cervical and ovarian cancer which are noticeable with their teal colors. Another area you can offer support is for those who suffer from Alzheimer's disease, pancreatic cancer, and domestic violence, which are represented by a purple ribbon. Cancer in all forms needs to be cured so Whatever you can do to help spread the awareness will help in more ways than you know.
